I am GATI. A visual artist working across canvas, fashion, and functional art with a cartoon style. A tribute to my upbringing and childhood.
Born Crystal, I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. My earliest connection to visual storytelling began with videography and directing, while drawing remained a quiet, personal practice. Though I’ve been drawing since the fourth grade, my work lived in black and white for years — expressive, but restrained.
Everything shifted in 2014, when I was introduced to paint. Color became more than a medium, it became a language. Paint expanded my process, deepened my expression, and transformed the way I brought ideas to life.
With a lifelong love for fashion and an instinct for visual composition, I began merging art and fashion, allowing my work to move beyond canvas and into wearable and functional forms. This fusion became the foundation of my brand.
Gati Galerie was born from that moment. GATI, my artist and street name paired with Galerie, the French word for gallery. Today my work continues under the name GATI, reflecting an evolution toward clarity, intention, and versatility.
Each piece I create is rooted in storytelling, movement, and individuality. Whether on canvas, clothing, or objects meant to be lived with.
